Ace Project is a professional option for users who need a better way to manage their projects. Web based applications tend to offer a convenient way to handle a team working towards the same goal because of its accessibility. Ace Project takes advantage of that with a number of handy features. Team leaders can assign projects to specific individuals and set access rights for those users only. Ace Project also allows users to organize their tasks into groups to differentiate between phases or project modules. Task types, statuses and priorities can also be set so each item is completed when it should be. Ace Project also offers Gantt chart view options, calendars, project templates, time sheet management tools, expense management and reporting. An HR area is also provided so users can view each team member’s work load to ensure proper distribution so no one is over or under loaded.
Ace Project was created by WebSystems, Inc. The company was founded in October of 2001 and is currently based in Quebec, Canada. The team includes President Daniel Raymond along with a total of around ten individuals. Each team member brings a valuable mix of web development, customer support, marketing, design and sales experience to the Ace Project team.
Ace Project offers many of the most common functions that other team management applications offer, but it also goes a little further. The application provides a number of ways to monitor progress along with reporting functions. Users can even handle project related human resources tasks to ensure that everyone is given a fair work load.
Ace Project features a primarily white and blue color scheme that works very well with its professional layout and design. Users can review neat lists that provide columns of information. Task dependencies can also be viewed while schedules are maintained with basic yet functional calendars that are built into Ace Project.
