Ace Project is a professional option for users who need a better way to manage their projects. Team leaders can assign projects to specific individuals and set access rights for those users only. Ace Project was created by WebSystems, Inc. The company was founded in October of 2001 and is currently based in Quebec, Canada. The team includes President Daniel Raymond along with a total of around ten individuals. Task dependencies can also be viewed while schedules are maintained with basic yet functional calendars that are built into Ace Project.

New users can begin the registration process by clicking on the red and white “Sign Up and Pricing” button along the lower, left hand corner of the Ace Project homepage. The user must select their desired membership plan before continuing. The registration form requires an account name, desired Ace Project URL, username, password, email address and terms of service agreement.

Ace Project provides users with five membership options to choose from. The first is a free account which includes up to five users, five projects, 50 total tasks, FTP access, 250 MBs of storage space and access to all built in features. The Standard membership costs just under $25 per month or around $240 per year and upgrades to include up to 10 users, 15 projects, 500 tasks and 5 GBs of storage space. The Advanced membership costs just under $40 per month or around $390 per year and upgrades to include up to 20 users, 25 projects, 1,000 tasks, and 10 GBs of storage space. The Silver account costs around $65 per month or $640 per year and includes up to 30 users, 50 projects, 2,000 tasks and 15 GBs of storage space. The most expensive membership is the Gold which costs just under $100 per month or around $990 per year and includes unlimited users, unlimited tasks, unlimited projects and 20 GBs of storage space. All paid memberships are also available at a 20% discount for non-profit organizations.
